Dibenzosuberone is a key intermediate for APIs, however its industrial synthesis was producing, until recently, plenty of waste.
Our group started a collaboration with Dipharma Francis S.r.l (led by Gabriele Razzetti and Simone Mantegazza) to tackle this challenge; our efforts culminated in a patent and is now also online on ChemCatChem from Wiley
